Jr. Reign grad Croteau collects ECAC Hockey, HCA national goalie of the month laurels

 

The Hockey Coaches Association (HCA) announced its monthly awards on Thursday for the month of November.

Dartmouth netminder Emmett Croteau has been named HCA Goalie of the Month.

The junior has started his second season in Hanover, N.H., nearly perfect. The Bonnyville, Alta., native has a 4-0-0 record with a shutout. He leads the country in both goals-against average at 0.75 and save percentage at .970.

In all four games this season, he has made 20 or more saves, including a season-high 27 saves against Clarkson on Nov. 15. Against Merrimack on Saturday, he made 24 saves as he notched his second career shutout.

Through 28 career games, he as a 2.17 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage.

The Jr. Reign alum was also recently named ECAC Goalie of the Month.
