The UCHC announced today that Utica College senior Savannah Gutierrez is the conference Goaltender of the Week.

Gutierrez made 42 saves on 45 shots in Utica’s 3-2 loss to Hamilton College on Sunday. She made 13 saves in each of the first two periods and 16 in the third for an impressive .933 save percentage. Two of the three goals allowed were power-play tallies.

During her youth hockey days, the Huntington Beach native played for the Anaheim Lady Ducks.
