Newport Beach’s Brannon McManus was named the United States Hockey League (USHL) co-Forward of the Week for the week ending Oct. 11 after striking for two goals and two assists, along with posting a plus-4, in two games for the Omaha Lancers.

McManus, a former LA Selects player who previously skated at Shattuck-St. Mary’s prep school, has committed to play his NCAA Division I hockey at the University of Minnesota.
