Rolling Hills native, Jr. Kings alum Fleece takes home BCHL weekly honors

The BCHL has announced that Sherwood Park Crusaders forward Masun Fleece is the 1st Star of the Week.

Fleece led all BCHL players with eight points in just two games last week, piling up three goals and five assists in a pair of Crusaders wins.

On Friday, the Penn State commit recorded the highest point total of any BCHL player this season with a six-point effort in an 8-5 home win over the Cranbrook Bucks. With three points in the first period, two in the second and another one in the third, his two-goal, four-assist effort earned him first star of the game.

On Sunday, Fleece recorded his second straight multi-point outing with a goal and an assist in a 3-2 road victory over the Prince George Spruce Kings.

Since joining the Crusaders in December, the Rolling Hills native and Los Angeles Jr. Kings product has 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points in 24 games.
