San Diego native, Jr. Ducks alum Ivey selected Atlantic Hockey America Rookie of the Week
Army West Point freshman forward Jack Ivey has been named the Atlantic Hockey America Rookie of the Week.
Ivey collected five points on two goals and three assists over the weekend to help the Black Knights grab five points vs. Sacred Heart.
The San Diego native picked up assists on both of Army’s goals in Friday’s contest, with his assist on Barron Woodring’s first period goal coming on the power play. Ivey was also lethal on the power play on Saturday, as he potted back-to-back power-play goals at 7:39 and 11:15 of the second period. Ivey then picked up a helper on Brent Keefer’s empty-netter to wrap up a big win.
Overall, the Anaheim Jr. Ducks grad now boasts eight goals to go along with 11 assists for 19 points on the season.
