The CCHA has announced that Northern Michigan senior Andre Ghantous is the CCHA Forward of the Week.

Ghantous paced all CCHA skaters with five points on three goals and two assists last weekend, leading the Wildcats to a sweep of Ferris State.

On Friday, he recorded a goal and an assist on four shots in a 9-2 victory over the Bulldogs, before potting two goals and one helper in an 8-3 triumph on Saturday.

For the weekend, he had three power-play tallies and six shots on goal.

Back home, the Glendale native played for the LA Hockey Club, Los Angeles Jr. Kings, and Anaheim Jr. Ducks.
