South Lake Tahoe’s Dill advances to NCAA D-III hockey, commits to Salem State
South Lake Tahoe native Zach Dill has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Salem State University.
Salem State is located in Salem, Mass., and the Vikings play in the New England Hockey Conference.
“Zach was a tremendous asset to the Rush organization over the last two seasons, both on and off the ice,” said the USPHL’s Charlotte Rush on social media. “He is a USPHL Premier national championship winner and will be a valuable addition to Salem State on the ice and in the community.”
Last season in Charlotte, Dill tallied six goals and 14 points in six regular-season games after playing 37 games with the NAHL’s Corpus Christi IceRays and collecting four goals and 11 points.
During his youth hockey days, Dill played for the Golden State Elite Eagles and Tahoe Prep Academy.
