Titans alum, Los Angeles native Altman commits to play NCAA D-I hockey at Quinnipiac

Bismarck Bobcats goaltender Noah Altman has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Quinnipiac University (ECAC Hockey).

A 2000 birth year, Altman just completed his first season in the NAHL and second season of junior hockey overall after playing the 2019-20 season for the BCHL’s Wenatchee Wild.

The Los Angeles native, who turned 21 yesterday, appeared in eight games during the 2020-21 regular season for the Bobcats, posting a 3-5-0 record with a 3.49 goals-against average and a .877 save percentage.

Altman is a ladder of development success story, having played two stints in the NAPHL prior to playing junior hockey.

During the 2016-17 season, he played for the California Titans’ 16U team. A few years later, he would emerge again in the NAPHL, this time with the Shattuck-St. Mary’s 18U team during the 2018-19 season where he appeared in eight games and had a 4-4-0 record with a 2.24 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage.

Altman was also named to the NAPHL Selects team that season that played in the 2018 NA3HL Showcase.
