The USPHL has announced that Atlanta MadHatters blueliner Ryder Heskett is one of the Florida Elite Division’s Defensemen of the Month for October.

A 2003-born native of Torrance, Heskett has been a leader all season for the MadHatters, not only leading the Atlanta defense in scoring, but also ranking fourth overall in team scoring.

A second-year Elite veteran, he is the leader in ice time for the MadHatters, and he averages nearly a block per game.

During his youth hockey career, Heskett skated for the California Wave.
