Trio of California connections claims weekly college awards from ECAC Hockey
Three of the four players recognized with weekly ECAC Hockey awards have California connections.
Brown sophomore Max Scott takes home Forward of the Week honors. The San Jose native and Jr. Sharks alum had a standout weekend, recording four goals, including a hat trick against Clarkson.
On Saturday, his empty-net goal secured the season sweep of the North Country schools (Clarkson and St. Lawrence) for the first time in Brown’s program’s 125-year history.
Quinnipiac freshman goaltender Dylan Silverstein earns Rookie of the Week honors with his outstanding showing in the blue paint for the Bobcats.
The Calabasas native and former Anaheim Jr. Ducks star finished the weekend with 35 saves, achieving a .946 save percentage in a win over Colgate and a tie against Cornell.
Dartmouth sophomore Emmett Croteau has been named the Goalie of the Week.
The former Jr. Reign netminder picked up two wins, with a .974 save percentage and a shutout, doing his part to lead the Big Green to a Capital District sweep over Union and RPI.
