USPHL’s Jr. Reign inks physical blueliner Day for ’21-22 season; main camp on tap Sept. 13-19

The USPHL’s Ontario Jr. Reign has signed defenseman Dylan Day for the 2021-22 season.

The Calgary native last played for the Twin City Thunder in the USPHL Premier Division. Before joining the Thunder, Day played for the Butte Cobras and Helena Bighorns in the NA3HL.

“Dylan is a big, physical defenseman with untapped offensive potential,” said Jr. Reign head coach Jeremy Blumes. “Dylan will keep the opposition honest in the corners and in front of our net. This is a game of inches, and Dylan will earn us plenty of them.”

The Jr. Reign’s first game of the 2021-22 season is on September 25 at Icetown Carlsbad against the San Diego Sabers.

The team’s main camp will be held at Ontario Center Ice Arena from Monday, Sept. 13 through Sunday, Sept. 19. Multiple participants from main camp will make the Jr. Reign’s inaugural roster and will be given the opportunity to compete in the USPHL.
