The USPHL has announced that Twin City Thunder forward Tristan Rand is the NCDC North Division Forward of the Week.

Rand, a 2002 birth year from Valencia, and the Thunder had just one game over the weekend, but it was a big one as they went up against the No. 2 team in the North, the South Shore Kings, coming out with the 3-2 victory.

Rand registered the game winner and also had an assist in the win. He improved to 17 goals and 13 assists for 30 points in 42 games.

During his youth hockey days, Rand played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings and Anaheim Jr. Ducks.
