Yorba Linda native, Jr. Kings grad Nieto selected ECAC Goalie of the Week
Yorba Linda native and Brown University junior goaltender Gavin Nieto was named the ECAC Goalie of the Week on Monday.
Nieto backstopped the Bears to a pair of road wins over the weekend.
He posted his first shutout of the season with a 3-0 win at Rensselaer on Friday and then made 26 saves in a win over No. 16 Union the following night, including 13 stops in the third period.
During his youth career, Nieto played for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
