Huntington Beach native and former Los Angeles Jr. Kings standout Austin Koss has committed to attend and play NCAA Division III hockey this fall at Augsburg University.

Koss, a forward, played the 2018-19 season with the NAHL’s Minot Minotauros, Janesville Jets and Corpus Christi IceRays.

“Austin was a great addition for us this season,” said IceRays coach-GM Ryan Cruthers. “He works extremely hard each day and gave us instant leadership in our locker room. We are very happy for him and wish him the best of luck.”

With the three teams, Koss compiled eight goals and 14 points in 47 games.
