The CCHA has announced that Minnesota State junior Josh Groll is the Forward of the Week.

Groll led all CCHA skaters with two goals and added an assist for three points in a home sweep of Ferris State last weekend.

Fourth in the league at plus-3, the San Diego native notched one power-play tally and one game-winning goal that came on Saturday night in a 4-0 victory. Also registering an assist in the contest, he scored on Friday night in a 4-2 Mavericks win.

For the week, he totaled six shots on goal.

During his youth hockey days, Groll played for the San Diego Jr. Gulls and Anaheim Jr. Ducks.
